For the Smoky Chipotle Marinade

Smoky, spicy, and slightly sweet—this marinade is bold enough for flank steak, chicken, or roasted vegetables

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Pinch Kosher Salt
  • 1 Pinch Black Pepper
  • ¼ Teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 2 Cloves Fresh Garlic, Smashed And Roughly Chopped
  • 2 items Chipotle Chiles In Adobo, Chopped

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and emulsified.
  3. Pour over meat, tofu, or vegetables in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight for deeper flavor.
  5. Remove from marinade and cook as desired—grill, roast, or pan-sear.
