For the Smoky Chipotle Marinade
Smoky, spicy, and slightly sweet—this marinade is bold enough for flank steak, chicken, or roasted vegetables
Ingredients
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1 Pinch Kosher Salt
- 1 Pinch Black Pepper
- ¼ Teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 2 Cloves Fresh Garlic, Smashed And Roughly Chopped
- 2 items Chipotle Chiles In Adobo, Chopped
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and emulsified.
- Pour over meat, tofu, or vegetables in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight for deeper flavor.
- Remove from marinade and cook as desired—grill, roast, or pan-sear.
