Ingredients
- 6 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 4 Large Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
- ½ Teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 ¼ Teaspoons Salt
- ½ Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- 1 ½ Teaspoons Lemon Zest (From One Lemon)
Instructions
- In a small bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon zest until well combined.
- Pour marinade over chicken in a zip-top bag or shallow dish.
- Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 4–8 hours.
- Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium-high heat until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
