Ingredients

  • 6 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 Large Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • ½ Teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 ¼ Teaspoons Salt
  • ½ Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 ½ Teaspoons Lemon Zest (From One Lemon)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl or jar, whisk together olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon zest until well combined.
  2. Pour marinade over chicken in a zip-top bag or shallow dish.
  3. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, ideally 4–8 hours.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium-high heat until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
