- 1 Pound Lean Ground Beef (At Least 85%)
- ½ Cup Chopped Onion
- ½ Cup Chopped Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Can (15 Ounces) Sloppy Joe Sauce
- ¼ Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
- ¾ Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (3 Ounces)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, onion, and bell pepper for 6–8 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in sloppy joe sauce and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Instructions
- Separate biscuit dough into 8 biscuits.

- Transfer the hot beef mixture into an ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish.
- Arrange biscuit rounds evenly over the beef mixture, slightly overlapping.
- Bake for 23–27 minutes, until biscuits are thoroughly baked and golden brown.
