  • ½ Cup Chopped Onion
  • ½ Cup Chopped Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Can (15 Ounces) Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • ¼ Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
  • ¾ Cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese (3 Ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, onion, and bell pepper for 6–8 minutes, stirring frequently, until beef is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in sloppy joe sauce and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
