For the Assembly & Heating

Microwave step warms the meat and melts the cheese slightly—baking finishes with golden buns and gooey layers

  • ½ Pound Baby Swiss Cheese (6 Slices)
  • 6 item Hawaiian Buns

Instructions

  1. For each slider, layer 6 slices of ham, 1 slice of Baby Swiss, then another 6 slices of ham, followed by a second slice of cheese.

  3. Place each ham and cheese stack onto a Hawaiian bun.
  4. Arrange sliders on a baking sheet.

Notes

Sweet buns, salty ham, and melty Swiss—these sliders are a galley favorite for quick lunches, game day spreads, or midnight raids of the ship’s stores. Keeps well for up to 2 days. For a zestier voyage, brush buns with Dijon or garlic butter before baking.
